Then mount the spherical hinge of the cross-section lever of a suspension bracket on a rotary support.
If you completely dismantled the cross-section lever of a suspension bracket establish it now with new screws and nuts. Tighten screws definitively only when again will put the Mondeo on wheels.
At installation of the cross-section lever on a rotary support do not forget about thermal protection.
Insert behind fixing screws of the spherical hinge and tighten the moment of an inhaling 83 Н·м.
Now level an auxiliary frame by отжатия. It is a provisional measure: in workshops Ford the special tool (205–316) and suitable lining washers is for this purpose used. Professionals here arrive as follows:
They use a lining washer 1 with internal diameter 22 mm, external diameter 44 mm and thickness of 5 mm. This washer is put from above the bottom levelling aperture on an auxiliary frame. After that move on a washer a fixing plate 3 to a groove of the special tool and tighten the plug of a directing pin.

Levelling thus, you insert screws of an auxiliary frame and the holder of a frame. At a tightening of screws (external 10 Н·м, internal 142 Н·м) the auxiliary frame should not move.
Now insert forward screws and tighten their moment 142 Н·м. After that the auxiliary frame cannot be moved more.
Lower a hydraulic jack and remove the special tool together with an U-washer.
Put the car on wheels and tighten at first a nut of a nave of a wheel the moment of an inhaling 290 Н·м.
Now tighten the forward screw of the cross-section lever of a suspension bracket the moment 80 Н·м plus 60 ° and a back nut of the cross-section lever the moment of an inhaling 90 Н·м plus 60 °.
Finish all work upside-down. A rod nut twirl the moment of 59 Nanometers.
Spend on the Mondeo a trial trip and check up, whether it moves rectilinearly and whether returnable forces of a steering wheel in both directions are identical. If is not present, it is necessary to measure the car necessarily. If the trial trip has passed without problems in end check up all screw connections on durability of landing.
