10.2. Coupling check

The worn out (sliping) coupling, undoubtedly, it is possible to learn when you accelerate the car on the maximum transfer or move on mountain district. The engine rotates on the big turns, and speed thus does not raise. Inform better in due time on a condition of the coupling – naturally, only at well-founded suspicions as coupling at such «the dry test» thoroughly "sweats". Before you start the engine, establish a manual brake.

Establish a manual brake and start the engine. Include coupling, establish 3rd transfer and try, as usually, to get under way from a place. At faultless coupling the motor "smothers" already on the first quarter of a returned pedal of coupling. If the engine continues to work further, coupling is worn out.
