13.17. External illuminationExternal illumination Mondeo consists of the basic headlights, back and brake lanterns, lanterns of a backing, forward and back antifog headlights, and also lanterns of indexes of turn and licence plate illumination. Other light sources are described in the head car Salon.
The external headlight consists of a light source, a reflector and рассеивателя. Regulation of an angle of slope of headlights At factory everyone Mondeo is equipped with system of regulation of an angle of slope of headlights. Thereby range of illumination by headlights strictly corresponds to current loading – oncoming traffic transport in no event cannot be blinded. The system of regulation of an angle of slope of headlights works from the step-by-step engine operated pressure. By means of the working switch located to the left of a steering wheel, it is possible to change adjusting resistance. It transfers further the chosen pressure to adjusting engines: depending on installation the spindle regulates reflector position in the case of a headlight. At base installation, that is calculated on "loading" of two persons, накатный the roller should stand in position «0», the scale in Mondeo has a range from «0 to«2».
