15.4. The fan

In all models Mondeo air exchange in salon supports the four-stage centrifugal fan. Usually the fan settles down in front of the heat exchanger and consequently even in winter days the salon "does not cool down". Connected resistors provide step regulation of the engine of the fan. At a step 4 fan possesses the maximum productivity. Its capacity is great enough, so irrespective of current speed of movement circulation of necessary volume of air always is carried out. This process, however, within several minutes is provided and at position "Air circulation". The fan engine takes places in the centre under the instrument panel before a forward wall.
