15.9. Coding ключазажиганияBy means of a master key it is possible to code a spare key or a maximum eight twirls. The system does not demand maintenance service.
Spend the stages of coding listed more low within five seconds:

Turn at first by means of a master key the ignition lock-switch in position «II» and …
… then turn a master key back in a position «0». Now pull out a master key from the ignition lock-switch.
Insert the second key into the lock-switch of ignition and turn it in position «II».
Turn the second key back in a position «0» and pull out it. The coding mode thus becomes more active. With an interval in ten seconds it is possible to repeat this process with the following not coded key.
"Allow" again coded keys to remain «in rest» about five seconds – so much time is necessary for system for key activization.
If coding process has been interrupted, the control lamp over hours starts to blink. In this case wait about 20 seconds and repeat process.
In workshop Ford it is possible to spend replacement of a master key or to "erase" codes from already coded keys.
