11.18. It is better to check on cold tyres – pressure of air

It is necessary to measure pressure of air always only in cold tyres as during driving the tyre heats up also pressure in tyres increases. A consequence: incorrect values – according to experience as though you always move with smaller pressure of air in tyres therefore can be received. Regularly check pressure in tyres in each three or four weeks, monthly loss of pressure in 1,5 % is norm. If the tyre leaves more air it is necessary to examine it attentively: more often «excitement occurs» in the bottom part of a surface.

Do not forget – to fasten a safety cap

After each measurement of pressure tyre valves should be always closed safety caps. If the dirt it can appear not tight all the same has got to the valve – tyres constantly lose air. And it can lead to troubles. Do not go at all with small pressure of air in tyres – temperature of tyres thereof raises excessively. Earlier or later it will necessarily lead to the phenomena of "disintegration" or deterioration of tyres. On the contrary, the pressure increased by 0,2–0,3 bar is considered as the positive fact: the steering works more sensitively, tyres keep longer and even the fuel expense a little decreases. A lack: the car not so comfortably springs.
