11.7. Check of the bearing of the cross-section lever of a suspension bracket

Only full replacement: the L-shaped cross-section lever

1 — the Vertical rubber bearing,
2 — the Spherical head,

3 — the Horizontal rubber bearing.

Two bearings and the spherical hinge of the forward cross-section lever do not demand technical leaving. The external spherical hinge settles down in the plastic bowl filled with long-term greasing. However the cross-section lever it is necessary to examine and "wring out" regularly a backlash by means of mount: проникшая the dirt and a moisture leaves traces, they operate as abrasive paste. From here consequences: hinges are beaten out also bearings коррозируют.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Turn against the stop the steering mechanism to the right and to the left. Visually check up both spherical hinges on presence of damages. For this purpose establish монтировочный the lever and check up a backlash. Check up in the same way both hinges and think that hinges initially possessed (should) known elasticity. As soon as монтировочный the lever turns without resistance, and by that all cross-section lever it is possible to send hinges in scrap metal.

As the skilled fan, you should think of such self-help at once in the beginning. However we consider to advise against you from it: this work does not come to an end with replacement of the cross-section lever: after repair it is necessary to spend measurements of all forward bridge. Therefore from the very beginning it is better to address in a specialised workshop.
